New York Jets Free-Agent Signings: Offensive Tackles Stephen Hoyer, Ray Willis ... - SB Nation New York

The New York Jets announced the signings of a pair of free-agent offensive tackles on Tuesday, adding both Stephen Hoyer and Ray Willis to the roster.

Hoyer, 6-foot-6, 330 pounds entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Washington Redskins in 2007. He started in 33 games for the Redskins from 2007 to 2010. In 2011, Heyer was active for 12 games, including two starts, with the Oakland Raiders after signing as an unrestricted free agent in August.

Willis, 6-4, 304 pounds, was a member of the Seattle Seahawks from 2005-2010 after being drafted by Seattle in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft.

Willis started 26 of the 49 games in which he played for the Seahawks. Willis spent the 2010 season on injured reserve. In 2011, Willis signed as a free agent with New Orleans and spent two weeks on the active roster before being waived in November.
