A Song for Tonight: 1989 was the only year when the Flames won a Stanley Cup. Back in 1989, some group from Toms River made it huge with a self-titled release. You may have heard of them: Skid Row. This is "Can't Stand the Heartache" from that self-titled release.
Gameday Info: Tom Gulitti reported this afternoon that Anton Volchenkov will play tonight and the starting goaltenders are Martin Brodeur and Miikka Kiprusoff. Matt Taormina will be scratched for Volchenkov's return. Travis Zajac could play tomorrow, but not tonight. In other news that should surprise nobody, Tim Sestito cleared waivers per this short post by Tom Gulitti. Look out AHL teams, a whole mass of Energy is coming your way. As for the Flames, John Down of the Calgary Herald has this preview article which includes a projected Flames lineup. Brendan Morrison is listed in Down's post, but per the team's official website, he's not playing.
As usual, you can use the comments in this post to discuss tonight's game before, during, and after it happens until the recap is up. Please remember the rules at all times. Namely: keep your comments clean, keep them on topic, and keep them legal (read: nothing about illegal streams - no links, no discussion, no requests). Go Devils!
